Friends and Collectors

For the first time, the Lehmbruck Museum is showing an exhibition devoted exclusively to works acquired with the support of the Freundeskreis (Friends of the Museum). Since its foundation, the Freundeskreis has been a constant and dependable partner of our Museum, who has enriched our collection with acquisitions of first-rate works by artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. Treasures from these collecting activities, including works by Keith Sonnier, Klaus Rinke, Jessica Stockholder, Fritz Schwegler and Yves Netzhammer, are now being presented in three thematic rooms.
