Norbert Kricke
Studio exhibition
18 November 2022 to 7 May 2023
Norbert Kricke's (1922-1984) delicate spatial sculptures have made him one of the most important representatives of German post-war modern art. The Lehmbruck Museum is celebrating his 100th birthday with a studio exhibition highlighting the Rhinelander's multifaceted oeuvre.

Starting from early figurative representations, Kricke developed a fundamentally individual idea of sculpture in the 1950s that is not characterised by material volume but by expansive lines of bent steel wire.
