On Site 2021
Interessengemeinschaft Duisburger Künstler*innen
(Duisburg Artists´ Interest Group)
27 November 2021 to 30 January 2022
Opening: Friday, 26 November, 6 p.m.
In cooperation with the Duisburg Artists’ Interest Group, the Lehmbruck Museum presents the exhibition “On Site 2021”. Last December, a jury selected 39 works by 40 artists closely associated with the city of Duisburg, 21 of them women, from 119 submissions. In addition to important representatives of the Duisburg art scene, the exhibition also presents a number of young artists who have not lived in Duisburg for long or whose works have first gained recognition in the city. Among them is Nico Pachali, this year’s holder of the artist-in-residence scholarship of the City of Duisburg.
The participating artists are: Holger Albertini, Regina Bartholme, Natalie Bell, Stacy Blatt, Christina Böckler, Inken Boje, Fee Brandenburg, Will Brands, Christoph Breitmar, Barbara Deblitz, Petra Dreier & Michael Hanousek, Susan Feind, Martin Gensheimer, Manfred Gliedt, Vera Herzogenrath, Elisabeth Höller, Jan Holthoff, Luise Hoyer, Friederike Huft, Evangelos Koukouwitakis, Barbara Koxholt, Renate Krupp, Wolfgang Lipka, Britta Lauer, Roger Löcherbach, Gerhard Losemann, Reiner Maria Matysik, Martina Meyer-Heil, Marco Morosin, Kerstin Müller-Schiel, Nico Pachali, Nie Pastille, Wolfgang Pilz, Andreas Richter, Walter Schernstein, Eugen Schilke, Angelika Stienecke, Annik Traumann, Max van Dorsten, Petra Wichmann.
The works are no less diverse than the participating artists: paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures, installations and video works reveal highly individual positions.
